NAFDAC approves Diabiz herbal tea that normalizes sugar level The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has given approval to AKO Group of Companies, to commence marketing Diabiz Herbal Tea in Nigeria, after the product successfully passed through various laboratory tests. Diabiz is an herbal remedy that supports carbohydrate metabolism and aids in maintaining normal level of blood sugar. Chief Executive Officer of Ako Group of Companies, Mr Obiora Atuchkwu explained that the introduction of Diabiz into the Nigerian market became necessary due to rising incidence of diabetes and other sugar-related diseases.
